- monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock
- participate in training sessions for new kitchen staff on pastry preparation techniques and food safety practices
Requirements
- proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or bakery setting
- strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
- proficient in various baking techniques and methods, with an eye for detail in presentation
- ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrated
- passion for baking and creating innovative pastry dishes that delight customers
