The Frying Squad is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will assist General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring that all staff members are providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.Responsibilities:Assisting General Manager in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and food quality controlTraining and coaching staff members to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard, and providing exceptional customer service at all timesMonitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are ordered promptly, and managing costs to maximise profitabilityEnsuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to and that the restaurant is always clean, tidy, and safe for customers and staff membersManaging customer complaints and feedback, and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory mannerProviding support to General Manager in developing and implementing marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer footfallRequirements:Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members to achieve their bestKnowledge of health and safety regulations, and experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic working environmentA flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work weekends and evenings as requiredA keen interest in food and a willingness to learn about our menu and productsA positive attitude, with a can-do mentality and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfactionAs a starting point, please go to '
