finance manager
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- responsible for providing monthly profit and loss accounts for all budget holders, Head of Finance & Operations and the Chief Executive
- oversee the release of authorised payments to suppliers and staff
- management of bank accounts and payroll processing
- produce costings and pricing for tender writing/funding bids for the development of new and existing projects
- undertake the monthly bank reconciliation
- provide information to the payroll and pensions providers and ensure that monthly payroll is processed in a timely manner
- prepare the statutory annual accounts and liaise with the organisation’s auditors/independent examiners
- liaise with staff and volunteers to ensure that financial procedures and processes are understood and adhered to throughout the organisation
Requirements
- have an accounting qualification
- either ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified or part qualified and currently studying
- possess strong technical accounting and payroll knowledge
- experience in using a variety of financial management systems
- willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends if necessary
- have extensive Sage experience
- previous significant experience in bookkeeping, accountancy and financial data entry
- A willingness and ability to work flexible hours if required
