  • previous experience working in compliance, training & competence or mortgage supervision
  • previous line management experience of a reasonable size team

Responsibility

  • supervise advisers to the required level, depending on level of competency/risk rating
  • monitor and manage any development needs as appropriate
  • promptly raise any concerns or areas of risk with AR firms or appointed representatives
  • audit of any large or complex AR firms within agreed timescales, where required
  • comply with all necessary deadlines
  • use initiative to coach advisers
  • complete quarterly and annual assessments of members of your team as required and as appropriate
  • allocate appropriate resource for advisers and businesses, new and existing
