Working hours
full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
oversee each part of the event to ensure it runs smoothly including set up
schedule staff and other crews for the day of the event
liaise with accounts department to process all invoices
implement promotional and follow up communication plans for every event
liaise with relevant members of the team to ensure the right marketing collateral is sourced in time for the event
choosing venues and booking venues for future events
planning, promotion and delivery of all company events on the calendar, including internal and external events such as golf days, gala dinners, private client lunches, staff parties
building a working relationship with suppliers and venues
Requirements
knowledge and understanding of relevant IT systems
impeccable attention to detail
outstanding organisational skills
excellent communication skills, written and verbal
able to work as part of a team and under own initiative, often juggling multiple tasks on sometimes short deadlines
A commitment to being able to travel to events, including working evenings and away from home, is essential
some previous exposure to the event setting is desired
creative design flair
