Responsibility

  • collaborate closely with the finance department to ensure accurate recording for timely payment of supplier invoices
  • utilise the company’s system to accurately despatch sales order tickets, coordinating with our warehouse and logistics teams
  • assisting the finance team with both supplier and customer credits and help resolving discrepancies
  • respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via various channels, providing accurate information and effective solutions
  • maintain an organised and up-to-date customer/supplier database, ensuring accurate entry of purchase orders and related information
  • contribute to process improvement initiatives, streamlining sales and purchase ledger workflows
  • manage the end-to-end process of purchase ledger tasks, including matching delivery notes to purchase orders and receipting goods against delivery notes, and resolving discrepancies
  • assist in preparing sales reports, presentations, and documentation as required

Requirements

  • proven experience in a sales support role with a focus on purchase ledger tasks
  • excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
  • proficiency in purchase ledger processes, including matching delivery notes and purchase orders, and vendor communication
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide valuable insights
  • exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse tasks effectively
  • advanced proficiency in Office 365 Suite and relevant software
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
