Responsibility
- plan and oversee the auditing process for assigned clients, ensuring quality and accuracy of audits and financial reports
- allocate responsibilities to junior and staff auditors and review their work for compliance and accuracy
- perform effective risk and control assessments and identify areas of improvement
- complete audits on time and submit reports to audit manager or partner
- present audit findings and suggestions to clients and stakeholders
- coordinate periodical audits and follow up on audit issues
- maintain updated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and auditing standards
- provide training, guidance and feedback to junior staff
Requirements
- proven experience as an audit senior or similar role in a public accounting firm
- in-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
- proficient in MS Office
- experience of CCH, Xero, Sage and other cloud based accounting systems would be an advantage
- strong mathematical and analytical skills
- attention to detail and accuracy
- organizational and leadership skills
- integrity and reliability
