Responsibility

  • ensuring that the premises is ready for use in accordance with the planned opening times and activities
  • providing visible leadership to staff, ensuring they are motivated and operate to the high service standards expected
  • contributing to managing the performance and ongoing development of staff
  • maintaining a clear customer focus and high visibility within the venue, proactively developing and maintaining high standards of customer care
  • ensuring compliance with all organisational policies and procedures
  • to undertake any other duties commensurate with the post’s level of responsibility
  • ensuring that all areas of the venue are maintained to the highest possible standards of safety, cleanliness, security and operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • with the Directors, reviewing activity sales performance regularly, agreeing on targets for improvements and identifying strategies for retaining and attracting new customers and building sales and profitability
