Responsibility
- as a Welder at FORT, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding custom steel security doors to the highest standards
- perform MIG and TIG welding on steel materials to create bespoke security doors
- your attention to detail and expertise in welding techniques will ensure that our products meet quality and security requirements
- read and interpret technical drawings
- you will be begin as self-employed and can move onto payroll down the line
- inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure compliance with specifications
- maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
- collaborate with design and production teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
- proven experience as a Welder
- proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
- excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- certification in welding is a plus
