Responsibility
- we are currently recruiting for a Head Chef with previous experience or an ambitious Sous Chef to join our team
- A good attitude and passion for great food is a must
- to support and assist the smooth running of our kitchen
- complete food orders and ensure correct items are received on the delivery
- to ensure that the business meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental legislations and procedures
- to ensure all equipment is well maintained and is in good working order
- carry out monthly stock takes
- someone who can work with others but also work on their own initiative and a desire to develop, inspire and motivate the team
Requirements
- relevant catering experience in a commercial kitchen
- to compile menus as required and suitable to the business
- food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 desirable but not essential as training can be undertaken
- excellent team player
- ability to communicate effectively and have good customer service skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
