- to make key decisions regarding the management of each shift
- to have oversight of any incidents which occur on shift
- to support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day management of the home
- to lead by example
Requirements
- this includes the management of care staff on shift and planning of young peopleâs activities
- residential Childcare: 1 year
- the role of a Senior Childrenâs Residential Care Worker is to take responsibility of the day-to-day care of children residing within our residential homes as well as have oversight of each shift worked
- the overall purpose of the role is to support childrenâs challenging behaviours and help them come to terms with previous life experiences whilst working towards their eventual independence
- this involves adhering to safeguarding procedures, working as part of a team to towards shared objectives and demonstrating working practice in line with the companyâs ethos and values
