- at least 2 years experience of working with young people with learning disabilities aged 12-18yrs
- ability to relate to residents within and outside the establishment in a tactful way
- experience of supervising junior staff members

Responsibility
- to ensure that complaints are dealt with promptly, professionally and sympathetically in accordance with the Company’s complaints policy
- to ensure that the service comply with regulations in respect to Health and Safety at Work, environmental health, fire precautions, etc and abide by Footsteps Care policies and procedures
- provide leadership, support and supervision to the Care Team, promoting high morale, team spirit and professionalism
- ensuring care for all service users is individualized and safe
- to ensure that standards required by registering authorities and other statutory regulatory bodies are met
- to keep up to date with current issues and promote good practice
- review and assist with preparing monthly progress reports for purchasing authorities
