Responsibility
- implementation of an internal accounts software - Sage or Xero
- processing payment runs
- payroll & expenses
- credit control - managing the debtors list, chasing outstanding invoices and also carrying out credit eligibility checks
- ad-hoc duties within the small office
- inputting payments and remits onto the accounts ledger
- cash flow forecasting
- processing Purchase Invoices for approval and imputing on system
Requirements
- ability to commute to the office
- at least 2 years’ experience in Bookkeeping
- preferably have Level 3 AAT or equivalent qulification or studying towards one
- A good level of knowledge and experience of using Sage or Xero
- knowledge of VAT Regulations and MTD
- working Knowledge on payroll an advantage
- work well under pressure, maintaining a friendly and professional manner
- A solution finder, able to work through problems effectively
