Responsibility
- baby Room Leader / Team Leader / Senior Nursery Nurse
- ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out in the room and agreed action plans are completed effectively
- to be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care
- ensure accident trends are monitored and actioned appropriately
- manage resources, organise routines and systems, communicate with senior management
- lead and manage your team and ensure they are motivated and trained as per their individual needs, ensuring that it meets with the needs of the unit
- be competent and effective with the settling in profiles for the children, alongside their short, medium and long term plans as well as their next steps and learning journeys
Requirements
- level 3 or above in Early Years
- hold a current DBS Certificate
- have Paediatric First Aid Training, although not essential as can be arranged
- have Safeguarding Training
