Responsibility
- prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
- assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including the work area, equipment, and seating areas
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service
- handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for processing payments
- manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction
Requirements
- previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential
- basic maths skills to handle transactions and manage cash effectively
- strong time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- understanding of food safety practices related to food preparation and handling
- A genuine desire to help customers with their needs and provide excellent service
- ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
