warehouse supervisor
Responsibility
accountable for all stock accuracy and quality within the warehouse
maintain a tidy and professional working environment with an emphasis on health and safety and compliance
ensure procedures are in place for maintenance of all equipment and aspects within the warehouse
maintain the lifting equipment register and ensure the equipment is tested at the correct intervals via an approved test facility
control engineering tools and be accountable for the calibration of certain tools
ensure all equipment within the workshop, engineers vans and offices are PAT tested
control and implement necessary and mandatory policies and procedures, to maintain company and legislative standards, ensuring full awareness
promote a positive Health and Safety and quality and environmental-oriented culture within the warehouse
Requirements
fully proficient in the use of Sage
A full UK Driving Licence
A Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
A recognised Health & Safety qualification or good knowledge of)
first Aid at Work trained
fire awareness and Fire Marshall training
legionella duty holder awareness training
ability and knowledge to source parts
engineer
Requirements
demonstrated ability, application and experience of overhauling engines and rebuilding back to OEM specification
meticulous planning, recording of information with an focus on tolerances and root cause approach to engine repair
ability to communicate at all levels with technical and non-technical colleagues, customers, and suppliers
A valid gas safe qualification like COCN1,CGFE1 & ICPN1 is desirable
experience of commissioning of engines post rebuild is essential
desirable to have the skills and experience to retune the AFR systems on large gas engines
A recognised apprenticeship with OEM engine manufacturer, shipping, HGV or industrial mechanical maintenance discipline or have had at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the power generation industry
must have a full UK Driving licence
Responsibility
carry out in depth assessments on generating assets preservice contract award ensuring any faults are noted and fed into the Job watch platform
liaise with the warehouse team ensuring all specialist tooling for rebuild is in good condition, calibrated and ready to deploy
field service engineer
Requirements
demonstrated ability, application and experience of servicing and maintain engines in line with OEM recommendations and industry best practice
meticulous planning, recording of information with and focus on tolerances and root cause approach to engine repair
ability to communicate at all levels with technical and non-technical colleagues, customers, and suppliers
A valid gas safe qualification like COCN1,CGFE1 & ICPN1 is desirable
desirable to have the skills and experience to retune the AFR systems on large gas engines

A recognised apprenticeship with OEM engine manufacturer, Marine, HGV or industrial mechanical maintenance discipline or have had at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the power generation industry
able to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate
