payroll administrator
Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- this role is part-time based on 24.5 hours from Monday to Thursday
- monday to Wednesday 8am to 4pm, Thursday 8am to 11.30am
- effective end to end processing of all weekly payrolls, ensuring deadlines are met accurately
- collating weekly timesheets
- maintain and update payroll parameters for Government Legislation
- ensure all line managers and supervisors comply with Unite/Company pay agreements and staffing arrangements
- we are looking for a Payroll Administrator to ensure effective end to end payroll processing and timely payment of all weekly paid employees, while ensuring accuracy in accordance with employment legislation and union agreements
- on time issue of weekly management information reports
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years experience of working in a payroll environment
- knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP and pension schemes
- experience of full RTI and Tax Year End processes
- ability to work accurately and to set deadlines
- payroll: 2 years
