multi skilled engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- providing breakdown and maintenance cover to ensure production continuation and minimising down time
- carrying out routine maintenance according to planned, preventative maintenance plan
- identifying training needs of the operators and where appropriate, delivering the training and coaching in efficient machine operation and setting
- ensuring all work undertaken is recorded and record kept and made available for audit purposes
- ensuring all work is carried out safely implementing all necessary controls
- working with the Engineering Supervisor and Production Managers to ensure that longer term skill development and machine modifications are identified and incorporated into the site plans and budget
- ensure machinery and building is safe and complies with all regulations
- ensure all machinery and buildings are safe and complies with all regulations
Requirements
- preferable FMCG experience/background or similar environment
- A recognised engineering qualification is essential
- will need to possess City & Guilds 2360 17th Edition
- proactive, can-do attitude
- food safety qualification desirable
- proven ability to manage priorities and own time
- flexible approach to working hours
- have a flexible proactive approach to work and working hours
