  • we are an online retailer specialising in optical equipment for astronomy and nature enthusiasts and are continuing to grow our business
  • we are looking for a full-time production operator to work at our premises on Marsh Barton industrial estate
  • final production assembly according to build instructions
  • picking components and sub-assemblies for each build
  • quality inspection checks to the required compliance standards
  • soldering of small components
  • assembly and soldering of cable looms
  • the successful applicant will be motivated, able to work alone or as part of a team and have previous experience in a manufacturing role

Requirements

  • good time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • soldering, electronics and cable assembly experience
  • show attention to detail
  • experience in a manufacturing role
  • ability to use a selection of hand tools
