- be part of a self-managed team
- operate mechanical test equipment to produce tests in accordance with customer and internationally recognised standards
- utilise the Information Systems within the area to produce reports and communications
- protect the safety of yourself and all staff and other stakeholders by ensuring that all employees comply with safety processes and procedures
- preparation of data to complete reports for routine analysis, trials programme and diagnostic interpretation
- ensure that the environmental impact of operations at the site are minimized by following processes, procedures and policies as defined by the Organisation
- mentoring and coaching of non-technical personnel in terms of operational performance
- prepare and complete recognised tests on specimens such as grain size measurement, presence of oxidation layer…) and report the results in a timely manner
Requirements
- A Laboratory technical degree in Metallurgy or equivalent would be preferred
