Responsibility

  • responsible for maintaining the Nottingham sites compressive HSEQ management processes and standards
  • collaborate with cross departmental teams to develop training programmes and promote awareness and adherence of HSEQ processes and standards
  • host and act as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies, external auditors, and customers during HSEQ inspections and audits
  • lead investigations into incidents, accidents and near misses. Identify root causes and then implement effective corrective and preventative actions
  • manage internal non-conformance processes and lead investigations into process / product failures. Working with production and technical to identify route cause
  • management of the internal audit programme, ensuring audits are carried out in an effective, timely fashion
  • develop and maintain HSEQ metrics and KPIs at all levels, and use these to drive improvements
  • overall responsibility to develop, implement and oversee the sites HSEQ policies and procedures to maintain our current and future portfolio of standards

Requirements

  • excellent understanding of ISO9001, ISO 140001 & 450001 requirements, and a proven ability to apply these in a manufacturing organisation
  • in depth knowledge of BRC regulations and HACCP
  • NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Required
  • ISO Internal Auditor trained
  • ATEX and explosive atmospheres experience preferred
  • ability to coach all levels of the organisation through an engaging and practical approach
  • proven experience of leading and delivering change both individually and through others
  • knowledge of root cause techniques and their application
