Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- safely operate a Class 1 Heavy Goods Vehicle during night shifts, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- transport palletised goods from our Hilsea depot to designated pallet network hubs in London and Lichfield
- ensure that all loads are properly secured and balanced for safe transportation
- coordinate with the logistics team to provide timely updates on delivery status
- collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate the loading and unloading of pallets
- exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service when interacting with clients or recipients at delivery points
- work on a 2-week rota basis, spending 2 weeks transporting pallets to Lichfield hubs and the following 2 weeks to London hubs
Requirements
- hold a valid Class 1 HGV license with CPC qualification
- experienced Class 1 HGV drivers are preferred, but newly-qualified applicants will also be considered
- demonstrated driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety and responsibility
- familiarity with UK road networks and traffic regulations
- driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year
