Responsibility

  • collaborate with clients to determine their goals, requirements, and budget for construction projects
  • create architectural designs and solutions that meet client specifications and comply with Planning and Building regulations
  • prepare project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines
  • coordinate with contractors, engineers, archaeologist, ecologists and other professionals involved in the project
  • conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
  • review and approve changes to designs or plans as necessary
  • oversee the construction process to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard of workmanship, on time and within budget

Requirements

  • strong knowledge of building regulations, and conservation and heritage construction and repair methods
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
  • attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documentation
  • problem-solving skills to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the construction process
  • time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
