Responsibility
assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate functions, private dinners and weddings
communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring all requirements are met and information is recorded accurately
collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials
support management of event logistics, including setup, catering arrangements, and guest services during the event
implement upselling strategies to enhance client experiences and maximise event potential
maintain an organised schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks leading up to each event
gather feedback from clients post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement
conduct site visits of new event spaces
Requirements
previous experience in hospitality or event management is preferred but not essential
strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members
time management skills that enable you to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A background in events/hospitality is advantageous
proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented environment
