Responsibility
- being responsible for assisting management with all aspects of the health, safety and environmental practice on site
- delivering best practice, complying with legislation and promoting a proactive safe and environmentally friendly culture
- to manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to
Requirements
- hazards and near miss reporting training
- accident investigation training
- implementation of the group H&S strategic plans to raise the standards of health & safety at the site
- detailed knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures
- assist with in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
- experience of working in a warehouse or similar environment
- experience of formulating, implementing and revising H&S policies and procedures
- review and update the training requirements of the department in line with current legislation
