Responsibility
- my client is a large FMCG business who are currently looking to recruit Supply Chain Planner for their site in Haddenham
- develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
- analyse and forecast demand to ensure adequate inventory levels
- collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods
- monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain high quality standards
- identify and resolve supply chain issues, such as delays or disruptions
- utilize supply chain management systems to track inventory, orders, and shipments
- continuously improve supply chain processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- degree in Supply Chain – Logistics or equivalent experience on the job
- some previous experience in supply chain processes or similar
- financial acumen is a plus
- efficient communication, Responsiveness, Time management, Prioritization, Problem solving
- cross functional work and Stakeholder management, working under pressure and with tight deadlines, autonomy and proactiveness
- working knowledge of Power BI will be an asset
