- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
- observe, support and extend children’s learning through planning appropriately for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for guidance
- maintain accurate and effective children’s records
- demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
- work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve quality of childcare and education
- ensure that children are kept safe, and that staff understand, and when necessary, follow, Safeguarding Procedures
Requirements
- minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
- hold a relevant childcare qualification / approved QTS for working with Early Years or EYPS/EYTS
- sound knowledge of what safeguarding is and your role within safeguarding
- sound knowledge of the EYFS
- have a good standard of grammar, punctuation and report writing
- nursery or childcare: 3 years
- nursery: 1 year
- nursery experience: 1 year
