Responsibility
- we are a small business but growing rapidly
- we are seeking a talented, organised, self-sufficient supervisor to oversee the day to day running of the factory
- this involves managing staff, equipment, and production planning to ensure orders are completed on time and meet the customer specifications
- fairfield Fresh Ltd is a low-risk food factory which was purpose-built for chipping and peeling root vegetables, the company was established in 2017 and are based in Swineshead, Boston
- you will have a solutions-led approach to your work, and supported by your colleagues, you will manage priorities and delegate effectively
- if you want to be part of a small team with big ideas and would like to help us develop and progress the business, you are the person for us
- we need a “hands on” supervisor who can deal with problems and motivate the team with a pragmatic and logical approach, while maintaining our high standards
- an understanding of the BRCGS Food Standard is essential for this role as this is the standard we work to in the factory
Requirements
- at least 2 years’ experience gained from within a food manufacturing environment
- sound practical knowledge of a production environment
- hands on approach to solving problems is essential
- excellent communication, both written and verbal
- excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- ability to stay calm and focused in difficult situations
- able to work autonomously and take direction and feedback
- flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a confident, friendly, and approachable manner
