- we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Heavy Plant Mechanic to join our team
- conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of plant machinery and equipment, including excavators, loaders, dumpers, and rollers
- you will work closely with our workshop team to perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and complete repairs to a high standard
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults to determine the necessary repairs
- carry out repairs, adjustments, and component replacements using appropriate tools and techniques
- perform thorough inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements
- relevant technical qualification NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent
- previous experience working on Heavy Plant and machinery
- good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
- proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in various types of plant equipment
- familiarity with maintenance and servicing procedures for plant machinery
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
