Responsibility
- calculating the materials needed for a project
- building and installing access equipment e.g. towers
- laying dust sheets to protect areas from paint
- preparing and cleaning surfaces
- repairing cracks and holes in walls
- removing old paint or wallpaper by sanding or scraping, or by using heat guns, liquid paint removers or steam strippers
- to deliver high quality workmanship and customer care, deliver projects in line with project programme and be fully compliant with health and safety rules on site
- mixing and thinning paint
Requirements
- have at least 2 years painting and decorating experience, part time served with me considered
- painting and decorating technical knowledge
- be thorough and pay attention to detail
- flexible and open to change
- work well under pressure
- good customer service skills
- able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
