Responsibility
consolidate final details to produce comprehensive and accurate event sheets which ensure the correct information is communicated to the operational teams
ensure all venue procedures are adhered to with regard to guest access, event security and health & safety
attend weekly operational meetings to discuss future business
handle event related enquiries or requests promptly, providing correct and accurate assistance or information that meets needs and exceeds expectations
conduct site visits and client appointments
produce and issue invoices, ensuring that pre-payments are obtained within the contracted timescales as per venue terms
capture, manage and share client feedback effectively throughout the business
ensure purchase orders are raised for any anticipated costs
Requirements
highly self motivated with the ability to work flexibly in a fast paced environment
experience of working in a similar position within an events team for at least 2 years
excellent planning and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
experience of working in a large venue
ability to manage and communicate clearly and effectively
experience using event planning software
pro-active and engaging style with the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines
