Responsibility

  • conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify potential bid opportunities and develop winning strategies that align with EXPLEO's goals
  • manage the bid qualification process, reviewing customer requirements, and making data–driven decisions on the bid–no–bid process
  • coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, preparing relevant documentation and presenting bid proposals to senior management for approval
  • oversee the project planning process, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, and establishing project timelines and resource requirements
  • lead and manage the end–to–end lifecycle of defence projects, from initial bid preparation to project completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
  • monitor project progress and performance, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • collaborate with cross–functional teams, including engineering, finance, procurement, and business development, to develop comprehensive and competitive bids for defence contracts and opportunities
  • drive effective communication and collaboration within project teams, fostering a positive and motivated work environment

Requirements

  • bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • proven experience as a Project Manager in a defence or aerospace industry, with a focus on bid preparation and project delivery
  • demonstrated experience in leading successful bid efforts for complex defence contracts, including managing multiple stakeholders and addressing customer requirements
  • familiarity with defence industry standards and regulations
  • solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • project Management Professional certification or equivalent
  • experience with financial and cost management for defence projects
  • excellent analytical, problem–solving, and decision–making skills
