  • qualified Chartered Accountant
  • previous practice experience and will be ACA/ACCA qualified at a minimum
  • experience and working knowledge of bookkeeping, management accounts, consolidations and finance processes
  • specific experience with the Companies Act requirements and UK GAAP/IFRS
  • an enjoyment of working for different clients whilst understanding their individual needs

Responsibility

  • completing period end close procedures for clients
  • reviewing close activities e.g. reconciliations, vat returns, prepayments/accruals & journals
  • using and reporting from cloud accounting systems
  • preparing and/or reviewing the monthly/quarterly accounts
  • preparation of annual statutory accounts
  • preparation of consolidated information where required
  • investigating and responding to technical accounting queries
  • point of contact for client for any finance related matters
