- higher level NGB Instructor qualifications e.g. RYA Senior Instructor, MCI, Canoe Performance Coach
- pool lifeguard
- degree Educated and/or professionally qualified
- experience working with and for people with disabilities
- an emotionally intelligent and compassionate leader
- risk management qualification
- A can do attitude to problem solving
Responsibility
- working with each department to ensure the smooth and efficient planning and execution of guest-related services and activities in the centre
- role: Operations Manager
- development and training of staff within the operational team
- location: Wistlandpound, Kentisbury, Barnstaple
- ultimate responsibility for ensuring all instructors are adequately signed off and approved to operate safely at the centre
- reporting to: Centre Director
- ability to run outdoor educational sessions to a high standard and provide guests and staff with clear guidelines for operation
- ensuring timely preparation and completion of external inspections relevant to each department
