Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with overtime available
  • we are looking for a HGV mechanic/technician to join our team working on municipal vehicles carrying out all aspects of work including getting vehicles ready for hire/sale, roadside assistance, 6 weekly inspection, pre MOT and general maintenance work
  • our fleet is mainly Dennis, Daf, and Mercedes municipal vehicles so hydraulic and auto electrical experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence
  • proven experience in a HGV mechanic/ fitter role
  • ability to work as a team or with little to no assistance
  • municipal vehicle experience beneficial but not essential
  • excellent time management
  • IRTEC qualification
