Responsibility
- £11 to £13 per hour plus sleep in allowance
- as a children’s residential provider, we are seeking to establish ourselves as a leader in high-quality children’s residential care
- the role provides opportunities to make a real difference to the lives of the children
- our service promotes relationship-based practice that is child-centred, and trauma informed
- evolve Residential are expanding and looking for full-time staff members to join their team. At the present time we would particularly welcome male applicants
- we are looking for confident, flexible, and nurturing residential support workers to join our experienced and committed staff team in our children’s home situated in central Darlington
- participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative are vital
- we have generous budgets to support this practice
Requirements
- minimum age of 22
- NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or willing to work towards
- full UK driving licence
- ability to undertake shift work, including sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays
- experience of working in a children’s residential setting is desirable
- residential Childcare: 1 year
