electrical engineer
Responsibility
- design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and sensor integration for the 1m3 large format 3D printer
- collaborate with product designers and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components and systems into the overall printer design
- create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, documentation, and design files
- prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety
- ensure electrical designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- assist in the selection and sourcing of electrical components and materials
- participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders
- stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the 3D printing industry
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and development, preferably with a focus on 3D printers or related technologies
- strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, and sensor integration
- proficiency in electrical design software, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar tools
- excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical design
- experience working with firmware and UI development teams is a plus
