EVERPOOL is looking for employees for positions:
mechanical technician
Responsibility
- to step up and cover for Supervisor / Manager as required
- responsible for ensuring that the boat are completed to the required quality
- management, control and designation of works orders
- ensuring that a boat is completed within the allowed hours
- proactive and early submission of spares requests
- proactive management, control and direction of the team designated to work on assigned boats managing team members against using mobile phones during working hours & spending excessive time away from their working area without just cause
- provide regular and detailed updates on the assigned boats progression process to the Workshop Manager or if absent the management team
- responsible for ensuring that the boat are completed on time. If the time frame is not achievable this is to be communicated to the Workshop Manager or if absent the management team
Requirements
- ensure the Health Safety and Welfare of all employees
- have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage your own workload and work with minimum supervision
- good communications skills and ability to work supportively as part of a team and with a friendly and approachable personality
- technical ability to lead a team of Mechanics on designated boats
