Requirements
- demonstrable experience working within a compliance officer role, either in an advisory or monitoring capacity
- working knowledge of credit files and credit reporting obligations
- current or very recent experience of working within a regulated financial services environment
- first and third party fraud investigations and fraud reporting requirements
- good understanding of regulations, including but not limited to the FCA Handbook, Consumer Credit Act, GDPR, and Conduct Rules
- confident and articulate communicator, both verbally and in writing
- standard IT packages e.g. Microsoft, Google and loan management systems
- ability to act on own initiative and as part of a team
Responsibility
- to support all compliance-related matters within MoneyBoat to aid compliance with current regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures
- representing MoneyBoat Compliance at relevant forums, trade bodies, and relevant groups as required
- the Compliance Officer will deputise for the Head of Compliance when required
- undertake internal reviews and scheduled compliance audits at agreed frequencies, implementing actions and improvement plans and investigating non-compliant behaviour
