I have a sign in my front window advising uninvited traders not to ring the doorbell. A young man ignored this sign and rang my doorbell. When I advised him I do not deal with uninvited callers, he tried to give me the Everest Roofing leaflet, saying I had birds nesting under my solar panels on the roof. I told him to go away and rang the company to complain about this young man's conduct and blatent lie (there are no birds nests under my solar panels - I checked). I was told the young man was 14 years old and on work experience. When I queried why someone this young was not in school as no school would send pupils out on work experience the 2nd week of a new school year, he just hung up on me. Does this sound like a reputable firm?????
