We are dedicated to serving our clients and candidates alike with the highest level of service, knowledge, professionalism, honestly and integrity.Evans Jones Associates are delighted to be working alongside our client based in Dishforth, Thirsk.We are currently looking for an experienced HR AdvisorPurpose of the role: Reporting to the Head of HR (North West Europe) the HR Advisor will primarily be responsible for delivering a professional on-site HR service.Responsibilities include: · Provide professional and robust first line advice and information to management and employees within the business· Assist and support managers with investigations and disciplinaries· Ensure that the organisation is operating under legally compliant HR policies and procedures and where necessary review and roll out policies in line with employment law and best practice· Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation· Recruitment of hourly paid and non-managerial staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking applications and shortlisting, interviewing and liaising with recruiting managers and recruitment agencies· Support the Head of HR (North West Europe) in the recruitment of management positions· Take responsibility for the new starter process and making sure that the new employee is fully inducted· Support the Site Production Manager to make sure that there is a detailed training plan for new starters· Carry out exit interviews and periodic stay interviews· Prepare contracts of employment, letters of offer, new starter paperwork and right to work and reference
