Responsibility
each month report on the debtor position
set up Direct Debit collections for customer invoices
E mail sales invoices and statements to customers
check bank for customer payments and update onto Sage 50
process customer returns, issue credit notes and make refunds where applicable
the Accounts Receivable administrator will take primary responsibility for the processing and administration of the Sales Ledger to ensure that all invoices are paid in line with credit terms and any credit risk is dealt with effectively, ensure billing queries are kept to a minimum and are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
deal with e mail and telephone queries
they will work closely with the sales department to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time and liaise with customers where payments are outstanding
Requirements
have at least 1 years’ experience working in Accounts
working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is desirable
have excellent attention to detail
be highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
