- european market leader Eurofins Genomics is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to develop the AgBio market with a focus on Agrigenomics in Europe including both the Animal and the Plant segment
- our approach is to provide tailored support to KOLs to drive key accounts revenue and deliver Eurofins Genomics’ strategic goals and objectives
- please note this is a full time homebased role, working Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:00

- working across multiple channels, we aim to provide access to Eurofins Genomics cutting-edge technology platforms and expertise to serve scientists while capturing downstream revenue opportunities
Requirements
- the ideal candidate has a high level of energy combined with a solid knowledge about biology and in particular genomics
- significant experience of selling research products and services into pharma/biotech accounts
- having collected already some experience in the Agrigenomics market and is excited to develop this business further for Eurofins Genomics
Show more +11 - good understanding of drug discovery and/or diagnostic workflows and the technologies employed
- seniority and long-term experience in the Agrigenomics field is a plus, but not mandatory
- team player with strong interpersonal skills
- the candidate is willing to travel at least 50% of the time across Europe
- minimum of a MSc or PhD in biological sciences is essential
- experience in Genomics technologies and applications would be desirable
- background in genetics, genomics or other life sciences
- additional Information
- experience of prospecting for new business, developing account plans and to be able to communicate effectively, both commercially and technically, to cultivate long term, relationships with key customer
- applicants must excited to build something new, including the willingness to drive everything from developing the necessary marketing material, through establishing a network with key opinion leaders in the industry, to direct sales in the field
- travel both domestic and international is required of up to 50% which includes face to face meetings with customers, attendance at roadshows and conferences, and travelling to sales meetings
