- part of this role will involve working with innovative design engineers and manufacturers located all around the world
- as such, part of the role will include the option to travel internationally
- assessment of products designed to national, regional and international standards
- we are looking for engineers who are enthusiastic, pragmatic, and thorough and who enjoys being part of a small, growing team
- preparation of technical reports, technical files and certificates
- preparation of quotations
- technical advice meetings with clients
Requirements
- an applicable degree, HND or HNC technical qualification is required
- an applicable degree, HND or HNC technical qualification is required, electronics or electrical subjects are preferred
- candidates must demonstrate a willingness to “get involved” and form part of our continued success
- experience in the design or certification of products intended for use in hazardous areas is advantageous but not required
- excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential as is attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple activities at once, a collaborative work ethic and a demonstrable desire to deliver outstanding service internally and externally
