Responsibility
- manage all Transport & Warehouse staff, including holiday management and overtime
- work with the Warehouse Manager to achieve the maximum output with customer satisfaction as your primary goal
- ensure all training is completed and accurate records are kept in accordance with Quality and FORS requirements
- maintain a safe workplace following Health & Safety Regulations and drive a safe culture whilst ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained
- manage, review and implement efficient workflows
- monitor and where required implement improvements to inventory control, space management and productivity
- ensure all transport compliance is maintained to VOSA regulations and FORS requirements
- produce regular reports on Inventory control, space reports, floor productivity and transport efficiency
Requirements
- national/International CPC
- experience in FORS accreditation
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a Warehouse/Transport management or supervisory role
- advantageous to have a FLT licence
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety best practice in a warehouse and Transport environment
- HGV licence advantageous but not essential
- logistics: 1 year
