A company where employees are in short supply. Professionalism is also in short supply. Lack of candidates, tolerance of underperformance and individualistic attitudes. It looks like a McDonalds, without camaraderie. That's why they give carte blanche to employees with their low professionalism, according to what a technician told me. Area managers: 10 years carte blanche, unit managers, 5 years, line managers, 3 years, researchers, 2 years. They tolerate toxicity for at least two years because it doesn't pay them to look for talent. So you can have very toxic colleagues. HR uses this to their advantage because after each project cycle they can decide to lay people off with toxicity or poor performance as an excuse. That's a good ace in the hole. Some toxic people feel very secure but HR takes note. As a client, the project did not meet the objectives. An organisation using Zotero groups to transfer knowledge, Word reports at size 16 and comic sans. It's like what happened to Ilkay Gundogan who left Barça after just one year. I don't see how to run projects like MySoil LIFE along 4 years. In Cetaqua they use another manager system that gives much better results.
