Responsibility
- electro-mechanical repairs to a PLC-controlled plant, handling and conveying equipment, also pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
- maintain the plant facilities and services, including compressed air
- input to and carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines
- support the operations team in achieving targets
- work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications
- co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies
- participate in the inputting of the maintenance management system , records of all changes, stores transactions made and work carried out
- to be observant & work off your own initiative when a fault is detected & to take action based on your best judgment on whether to effect immediate repair or not
