Responsibility
- build financial controls and processes to ensure the security of assets and maximise profit performance
- responsible for the preparation of all aspects of the management accounts
- provide leadership, support and development to the finance department
- implementation of improved financial systems and processes
- lead, develop and motivate the Operational Accounting function
- year-end statutory reporting
- oversee all day-to-day accounting operations
- timely integration of newly acquired businesses back-office functions and the implementation of standard controls and information flows across the group
Requirements
- you will be a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and taxation skills
- you will be degree educated and a qualified accountant
- keen to develop commercial skills and make an impact
- ideally Multi-site experience
- you will be a Qualified Accountant
- strong presentational skills
- strong people manager, able to manage a team of qualified/non-qualified people
- previous experience as a Financial Controller, ideally having undertaken FP&A
