Responsibility

  • attend meetings internally and externally
  • ensuring all relevant information is inputed on the ledgers, cashbook, petty cash system and computerised QuickBooks accounts system to agreed procedures
  • provide finance information for the CEO with reports, statistics and information for Managers, Trustees and Grant Funders as appropriate
  • at all times act professionally and with discretion, tact and diplomacy, promoting effective/relevant communication across the organisation
  • to ensure the accurate and timely data entry and processing of financial information within the financial reporting QuickBooks software in line with financial requirements, ensuring costs are coded correctly at source
  • to produce monthly management accounts in a timely, accurate manner together with written reports explaining variances so that CEO fully understands and is able to control the income and costs within department areas
  • invoices are clearly and accurately filed in a timely manner
  • processing the day-to-day accounts, including paying incoming invoices on time, checking and processing invoices, preparing and submitting invoices, chasing invoices, checking and processing monies received as necessary etc
