• to operate and maintain the Multiblend delivery vehicle and transport assets in accordance with all relevant safety standards, legislation, and company procedures
• manage the magazine stock levels and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations
• to attend Company meetings as and when required
• to liaise with the Area Supervisor and or shotfirers regarding planning and preparing areas of work, access to blast sites for personnel, Multiblend trucks and drilling rigs
• undertake transport deliveries including box van or road tanker deliveries
• the Multiskilled Operator is part of the Services team and works with the Multiblend Supervisor and Transport Manager to ensure equipment is effectively and safely utilised as well as inspected and maintained in line with relevant equipment standards taking due regard of any safety critical defects
• to maintain all equipment issued from the company in an acceptable standard, particularly Multiblend vehicles and Transport Assets, ensuring all weekly and daily check sheets are completed and forwarded as required with safety critical defects identified and actioned immediately as appropriate
• undertake low loader deliveries
• to undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Transport Manager or other member of the Management Team
• multiskilled Operators assist Shotfiring teams and customers in producing and maintaining detailed accurate records of products supplied and used. Other duties may also be necessary to support the operation of regional depots
• to represent EPC-UK in a professional manor when operating on Customer sites
• register for and maintain formal CPD records
